Switching the flap auto open
For theft protection, the front panel opens
automatically and easily detaches. Flap auto
open is on as a default.
1 Press FUNCTION to select
Face auto open.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
Face auto open appears in the display.
2 Press a or b to turn Face auto open on
or off.
Pressing a or b will turn Face auto open on
or off and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
Face auto open ON).
Switching the hands-free
telephoning
You can turn the hands-free telephoning on or
off in accordance with the connection of the
cellular telephone you use. When using the
hands-free telephone unit (sold separately), se-
lect Hands free ON.
1 Press FUNCTION to select Hands free.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until Hands free
appears in the display.
2 Press a or b to turn Hands free on or
off.
Pressing a or b will turn Hands free on or off
and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
Hands free ON).
Switching the telephone
standby
If you want to use the hands-free telephone
unit without playing other sources of this unit,
activate the telephone standby mode.
! When the hands-free telephoning is
Hands free ON, you can operate this func-
tion.
1 Press FUNCTION to select
SRC off standby.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
SRC off standby appears in the display.
2 Press a or b to turn SRC off standby on
or off.
Pressing a or b will turn SRC off standby on
or off and that status will be displayed (e.g.,
SRC off standby ON).
Using the feature demo
The feature demo automatically starts when
power to this unit is turned off while the igni-
tion switch is set to ACC or ON.
You can turn the feature demo on or off.
Important
The red lead (ACC) of this unit should be con-
nected to a terminal coupled with ignition switch
on/off operations. If this is not done, the vehicle
battery may be drained.
1 Press FUNCTION to select
Demonstration.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
Demonstration appears in the display.
