Term Description
10/100 Base-T Maximum transmission speed of 10/100 megabits over
Ethernet.
CE
Mandatory European marking for certain product groups to

requirements set out in European Directives.
DHCP
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol is a protocol used by
networked devices (clients) to obtain the parameters necessary
for operation in an Internet Protocol network.
DNS
Domain Name System serves as the phone book for the
Internet by translating human-readable computer hostnames,
e.g. www.atvs.com, into IP addresses, e.g. 33.50.168.162. A
DNS also stores other information such as the list of mail
servers that accept email for a given domain.
Domain
Local for mDNS local area network clock discovery and specific
domain for uDNS with its wide area discovery which requires a
DNS server.
