Leaving the AC adapter connected to the 2020ppbPRO will not harm the battery or
the AC adapter in any way. If the 2020ppbPRO is to be left unused for an extended
period of time, leave it connected to the AC adapter so that the battery will be fully
charged and ready for operation.

On average a fully charged battery pack will provide 6 hours of continuous
operation. Battery life is shorter if the instrument is turned off and then on again
repeatedly, or if the backlighting is turned on.

Sample Intake Conditioner Tube

The 2020ppbPRO is an extremely sensitive instrument designed to measure very
low concentrations of VOCs. The instrument anticipates that the user will be
measuring VOCs principally in the range of 10ppb to 10ppm, with single ppb
precision.

To achieve this critical sensitivity the instrument utilizes INFICON

’s Gas Analysis

System developed in partnership with Dräger Safety AG & Co. All intake to the
instrument is passed through a sample intake conditioner tube (F1760162) which is
attached to the instrument with the INFICON Tube Holder (A1790500).

The tube provides a filtered dry sample which supports stability and precision of
detector response during calibration and sampling.

Display

The 2020ppbPRO has a graphic display for reporting detected concentration and to
guide you through configuration options. All functions of the 2020ppbPRO will be
reported on the display.

Graphic Display

The 2020ppbPRO uses an 8 line graphic display. The display will always be used for
reporting detected concentration. The 2020ppbPRO will display readings in parts per
billion (ppb) ranging from 10ppb to 40000 ppb with a resolution of 1 ppb.
