Cleaning the Laser Lens
IMPORTANT! Use only 5%-8% acetic
acid with distilled water to clean the
laser lens.
All other solvents will permanently
damage the lens.
To clean the laser lens (28) follow the following
procedure:
• Gauze pads in a size of 5 x 5 cm are best suit-
ed for lens cleaning.
• Moisten the gauze pad with 5%-8% acetic acid
with distilled water.
• Clean under the lens unit.
• Carefully wipe off the glass lens and the metal
parts around the lens.
• Ensure that the area where the glass and the
metal meet is cleaned carefully.
