Independent control and visualisation
In this variant, the control and visualisation access the bus independently of each other.

This ensures the most possible independence of both systems but is only very rarely sen-

sible in practice.

Properties:

– Visualisation has access to parameters of the field devices
– Impact on the real-time capability of the bus by the visualisation is possible, thus it

is only suitable in Motion systems in a restricted way (also depending on the bus sys-

tem used)

– Depending on the prevailing bus system, several bus masters can be used which are

independent of each other:

– Use of CANopen
– In connection with EtherCAT a configuration with two bus masters is not possible.
– Available for HMI EL100

Note!

The configuration with control and visualisation that are independent of each

other is only recommended for systems without Lenze control!
