Beaker detector does not respond

although no beaker is present.

Activate beaker detector in program part

Is the beaker detector correctly plugged into

the "Auxiliary 1" socket?

Rack does not fit on Sample Changer.

Loosen wash beaker from below the Sample

Changer, set rack onto Sample Changer and

screw wash beaker back in position.

Rinsing solution does not enter the wash

beaker.

The rinsing canister must be open.

Is the aspiration tubing sufficiently immersed

in the rinsing canister?

Are all tubing connections tight?

Rinsing solution is not discharged.

Waste tubing must not sag!

The waste canister must be open.

Sample arm contacts left or right side.

Readjust Sample Changer, see page 19.

Stirrer does not rotate.

Increase stirrer speed. Turn

counterclockwise until maximum stirrer

speed is reached.

Try switching on the stirrer in the Sample

the command to switch the stirrer on.

Is the stirrer connected correctly to the
