E.g. When the wireless AP (SSID) is “A60x_AP” it is displayed as follows.

In front of the AP (SSID), the reception level is displayed.

There are five reception levels.

Very Low Low Normal High Very High

Note

- If reception is very poor, the wireless AP will not be found. Although it may be found on other devices,

it may not be found on this product.

If there is no security setting, wireless network setting is complete.

If the wireless AP has security setting, the wireless network security window appears.

WEP:

Enter the WEP security key for authentication. If a connection is successfully made, wireless network

setting is complete.

Note

- For WEP, the 64-bit or 128-bit WEP encryption key is used.

WPA/WPA2:

Enter the WPA key. If a connection is successfully made, wireless network setting is complete.

Note

- Just as with WEP, WPA uses TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) and AES(Advanced

Encryption Standard) for data encryption.
