Setup Menu Options

The Setup Menu controls a wide range of parameters for the PIX. The parameters are organized into

categories, making the setup Menu easy to navigate. The following tables show the parameter name,

a description, options available, and the factory default setting where applicable.

Default settings can be altered. (

Primary Drive

Selects which storage device to record to.

When Drive is Full

Whether or not to automatically switch to the other

storage device if the primary drive becomes full while

recording.

» Stop recording
• Switch to other drive

File Split Every

Choose the recording time that will elapse before a

new file is created automatically. Since DNxHD codec

is variable bit rate, the size of each file will vary, even

though the running time will be the same.

• 10 min
• 15 min
• 30 min

» 60 min
• Split Disabled (10 Hours Max)
