z Grasp each side and lift up.
Do not open the print head unit compartment cover inside the printer. You can
easily remove and install the ink tanks with this cover closed.

z Lift up the front of the old ink tank and slide it out of its slot.
z Dispose of it properly. You may want to place it in a plastic bag to keep
from spilling any ink.
If the ink tank appears to contain ink, reinstall it making sure it is seated
correctly. Perform the single-head cleaning procedure for the ink tank. If the
ERROR and INK lights still come on, replace the ink tank.
