Starter Replacement (Catalog #100-1370)
1. Turn off the power.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the Universal Hood II.
3. Remove the four screws located on the left/right sides of the trans cover.
4. Remove the cover with the UV filter by sliding it forward, then lifting it up.
5. Place it down on its backside on a non-abrasive surface so the glass does not get
scratched.
6. Caution: Do not put the UV filter directly on the bench.
7. To remove the starter, rotate it counterclockwise and pull out.
8. To replace the starter, insert it into the holder and rotate clockwise.
9. Reassemble the cover and retighten the screws on both sides.
