Preparing the Computer for Wireless LAN Connection
with the YP-100
Before attempting the operations in this section, be sure to prepare the computer by
following the steps below.
If you are using the YW-2 wireless adapter
1 On your computer, install “Wireless Connection” from the CD-ROM that comes
bundled with the YP-100.
z For more information, see “Installing YP-100 Software” (page 10).
2 Connect the YW-2 wireless adapter to your computer’s USB port.
If you are using another wireless LAN adapter (including a computer’s built-
in wireless LAN)
1 Make sure that the wireless LAN of the computer (either a built-in wireless LAN
or add-on wireless LAN) conforms to the IEEE 802.11b standard.
2 On your computer, install “Wireless Connection” from the CD-ROM that comes
bundled with the YP-100.
