1.2.4 Adjustable suspension on the Cougar and CX

Chariot adjustable suspension (CAS): After loosening the knob it is possible to

move the bracket, which surrounds both leaf springs. The more you slide this

bracket towards the wheel axis, the stiffer the suspension becomes (see diagram

containing weight details on the upper spring).

Please note:

Where there are different weights on each of the two sides of the vehicle or where only one side is loaded, we recommend

that the spring stiffness on each side be adjusted to the weight in question.

1.2.5 Adjustable suspension on the Corsaire XL

A. Dismantling of the transport safety lock after unpacking

This assembly step may only be carried out by a dealer assembling the trailer for the first time.

Transport safety lock

To remove the transport safety lock press down on the trailer from above so as to

loosen the suspension. Extract the transport safety lock from one side using pliers.

Safety Recommendation:

Do not extract the transport safety lock with your hand – you might trap it!

B. Setting the stiffness of the springs

As with the Cougar and CX, see section 1.2.4

Adjustable suspension on the Corsaire XL

Please note:

Where there are different weights on each of the two sides of the vehicle or where

only one side is loaded, we recommend that the spring stiffness on each side be

adjusted to the weight in question.
