Playing a Disc (continued)

Stop Play

Press STOP during playback.

NOTE:

Do not touch the disc if it is still spinning when you

open the lid.

Resume Play

When play is stopped, the unit records the point

where STOP was pressed (RESUME function).

Press PLAY or ENTER. Play will resume from this
point.

NOTES:

• When you press the STOP button, “Resume” appears

on the LCD screen and the player enters the resume

mode.

•Turn off the power in resume mode and turn on the

power again. Playback starts automatically from

the Resume Point.

•To exit from Resume function:

Press STOP button twice continuously.

Open Disc Lid when the power is on.

• For MP3/JPEG data no information may be displayed

depending upon the condition of the disc.

Pause

1. Press PAUSE during playback.

2. To exit pause mode, press PLAY or PAUSE.

Search

1. Press SCAN/SLOW-« or»>-during playback.

The playerwill now go into SEARCH mode.

2. Press S C A N / S L O W o r ^ ^ repeatedly to select

the required speed:

Slow > > > > Quick

Scan FWD ED aa ED ED—
Scan REV ED S3 S3 ED—

3. When you press or-^ in the unit, the DVD

player acts as the same as you press SCAN/

SLOW or»*- .

4. To exit SEARCH mode, press the buttons:

Remote: PLAY
Unit: PLAY or ENTER

NOTES:

• The DVD player does not play sound during the

high speed reverse and forward playback of DVD

videodiscs.

• Scanning speed varies according to different disc.
