Connecting the IR Blaster
If you have connected a cable box to your Internet Terminal
configuration, you must connect the IR Blaster in order to control the
cable box channel selection from your Internet Terminal's remote control.

Connect the IR Blaster to the Internet Terminal's IR BLASTER OUT
jack. Then place the IR Blaster on top of and overhanging the front of
the cable box, about 1/2" to 1". For best results, place the IR Blaster
directly above the cable box's IR receiving area.
In order to activate the IR Blaster, you must first sign up for the
WebTV Plus Network. For signup instructions, see "Signing Up for
the WebTV Plus Network" on page 33.
Be sure to select "Update Now" if the WebTV Plus Network offers
any updates to you after you sign up.
Once you are connected to the WebTV Plus Network, press the
HOME button on the remote control. This will display either the Web
Home or TV Home page. If the page displayed is the Web Home
page, select the "TV Home" link to go to the TV Home page.
If the screen displayed when you press the HOME button is not the TV Home page, or
if the page displayed does not contain a link to the TV Home page, then this feature
may not be available at this time. Future updates from the WebTV Plus Network will
enable this feature.
From the TV Home page, choose the "Settings" link. From this page,
you will be able to access more information on the setup and use of
your IR Blaster.
