Signing Up for the
WebTV Plus Network
Signing up for the WebTV Plus Network is as easy as filling out a short
application form. When you complete the last page, you will be given the
opportunity to correct any mistakes. After you finish, the Web Home
page appears and you are ready to begin your Internet experience.
Should you have any difficulty signing up, please call 1-800-GO-WEBTV.
The instructions in this manual assume that you will be using the on-screen keyboard.
However, you can also purchase thé Sony internet Terminal Wireless keyboard. See your
local retailer for details. •
Signing Up

Press TV to turn on your television. See "Programming the Remote
Control", on page 41.
If you are connected through a VCR, it may be necessary to turn on the VCR and
select external input before accessing the Internet.

Press WEB to connect to the WebTV Plus Network.
^ The first time you conhect to the WebTV Plus Network; your Internet Terminal takes a
minute or more to make the connection.

If you connected the Internet Terminal to your TV with an S-Video or
A/V cable, press the TV/VIDEO button to cycle through the TV's
video inputs until the WebTV input appears on your screen.
If you connected the Internet Terminal to your TV using only a VHP/
UHF (coaxial cable) coimection, select channel 3 or 4, whichever
channel you set the CH3-CH4 switch to on the back panel of the
Internet Terminal.
The sign-up page appears.
