The tape does not move when a tape
transport button is pressed.

• The POWER switch is set to CAMERA or OFF.

Set it to VTR. (p. 21)

• The tape has run out.

4 Rewind the tape or use a new one. (p. 21)

No sound or only a low sound is .
heard when playing back a tape.

• The volume is turned tothe minimum.

Open the LCD panel and press VOLUME +. (p. 21)

• AUDIO MIX is set to ST2 side in the menu system.

Adjust AUDIO MIX in the menu system (p. 25,71).

The new sound added to the
recorded tape is not heard.
