Watching on a TV screen
Connect the camcorder to your VCR or TV to watch the playback picture on the TV
screen. When monitoring the playback picture by corttecting the camcorder to your TV,
we recommend you to use house current for the power source.

Open the jack cover and connect the camcorder to the inputs on the TV by using the
supplied A/V connecting cable. Set the TV /VCR selector on the TV to VCR.
Turn down the volume of the camcorder.
To get higher quality pictures in DV format, connect the camcorder to your TV using
the S video coimecting cable (not supplied).
If you are going to coimect the camcorder using the S video connecting cable (not
supplied)

If your VCR-or TV is a monaural type
Connect the yellow plug of the A/V connecting cable to the video input jack and the
white or the red plug to the audio input jack on the VCR or the TV. When the white
plug is connected, the left channel audio is output, and the red plug is connected, the
right channel audio is output.
