Before playback, make sure a power source is attached
to camcorder (CA-100 with DC-100 or battery pack).
1. Press OPERATE button to turn camera on.
2. Press MODE SELECT button to select PLAY mode.
Mode indicator changes from red to green.
3. Press EJECT button to open video cassette
compartment.
4. Load video cassette.
5. Close video cassette compartment.
6. Locate playback start point using ►► (FF) or ◄◄
(REW) buttons.
7. Press ► (PLAY) button to start playback.
If a television is connected to camcorder, you can also
monitor playback on the connected television.
8. Press ■ (STOP) button to end playback.
About PLAY Mode
Press MODE SELECT button once to select the PLAY
mode. Mode indicator lights up green. In PLAY mode,
the four buttons on the top of the camcorder have the
function indicated in blue. Use these buttons or the
wireless controller to playback a video cassette.
To change to CAMERA mode
• Press MODE SELECT button again.
Mode indicator changes from green to red and the
camcorder is put in record pause mode.
To end operation
• Unload video cassette and turn camcorder off.
