4) Trace the rectangle onto the liner to mark your cutting line using a grease pecil or Sharpie®

style marking pen.

5) If you prefer, you can remove the fender liner from the car to make cutting the hole easier.

Cut the hole in the liner using a utility knife. It is usually better to make several lighter
strokes to cut throught the thick plastic, rather than trying to cut all the way through in
one pass.

6) Once the hole is cut, place the vent plate into the hole from the intercooler side of the

liner. If any of the liner's webbing interferes, simply cut off the section of the webbing to
allow the plate to fit flush.

7) With the Vent Plate in place as a template, use a pen or punch to mark the hole locations

for the mounting screws.

8) Drill the holes in the liner using a 9/64" drill bit.
9) Install the Vent plate and fasten to the liner with the included mounting screws. Re-install

the liner on the car if it was removed earlier.
