3 Configuration
3.1 DIP Switch Conf iguration
3.1.1 DIP Switch SW2
The DIP switch SW2 serves for general board configuration.
The default setting is indicated by using italic bold.
To clear the uEFI BIOS settings and the passwords, proceed as follows:
1. Set DIP switch SW2, switch 4, to the ON position.
2. Apply power to the system.
3. Wait 30 seconds and then remove power from the system. During this time period no messag-
es are displayed.
4. Set DIP switch SW2, switch 4, to the OFF position.

1 OFF Use AMC fabric port assignment configured in the MMC and indicated in
the E-Keying data
This configuration can be changed via the AMC configuration options in
the uEFI BIOS
kBoardConfig command.
ON Load and work with fail-safe AMC fabric configuration
For further information on the fail-safe AMC fabric configuration refer to
Table 23, Fail-Safe AMC Fabric Configuration.
2 OFF Boot from the standard SPI boot flash
ON Boot from the recovery SPI boot flash
3 OFF Non-volatile memory write protection disabled
(if no other write protection sources are enabled)
ON Non-volatile memory write protection enabled
4 OFF Boot using the currently saved uEFI BIOS settings
ON Clear the uEFI BIOS settings and use the default values
