To change the groups ID simply begin typing and it will replace the old group id. Press the escape key to
save the new setting and return to the previous menu.

Start a Maintenance Shell

When selecting this option, you will be placed at a shell prompt (preceded by “maint>”), where you may
perform certain maintenance tasks. Note, however, at this time, the only operating system available is
running in installation mode and is therefore limited to a subset of commands. The user would typically only
select this option when instructed to do so by a Storix support representative.

To return to the

Installation and Maintenance Menu

, type “exit” at the maintenance shell prompt.

Reboot the System

If you choose not to perform a system installation, choose this option to simply reboot the system. If the system
is currently installed, you may reboot in

normal mode

(be sure the key switch, if any, is set to “normal”). You

may also reboot in

service mode

if you wish to restart this installation process. Refer to the instructions provided

in the section

Boot a Client for Installation from a System Backup

if you want to restart the installation process.

Upon selecting this option, you will be asked to confirm the action. Upon doing so, a quick shutdown of the
system will be performed, and the system will be rebooted.
