Technical notes on Password Protection:

When logging on, if the password string matches the supervisor string, you are logged on as
Supervisor. If it matches the manager string, you are logged on as Manager. If it matches the user
string, you are logged on as User. If the password is incorrect, you will see "invalid password".

Each editable menu item has a minimum access level that must be met to allow editing. For example,
if you are logged in as User and try to change a Spanning Tree parameter, you will see "ACCESS
DENIED: SUPERVISOR LEVEL REQUIRED."

Supervisor can access any menu or configuration. Manager can do all functions that are not set for
Supervisor level access.

Password level assignments are fixed and cannot be reconfigured; take care when assigning and
distributing passwords.
