Step 11 In the Dial-Up Networking window, check that the new properties are correct, then plug a
phone line into the computer modem and click Dial to connect to the remote 9135G.

Step 12 From the Windows Start button, click Programs, then DOS Commands Prompt. In the
MSDOS screen, type "ping" and the IP address of the 9135G. Reference Figure 48. The Ping
Program normally stops after three pings.

Step 13 In MSDOS, type "telnet" to open a Telnet session. The Telnet screen appears as shown in
Figure 49.
