To dial the telephone number manually using the keypad, follow the steps below.
Manual Number Dialling (Memory Transmission)

Set document(s) face down.
MEMORY
Make sure that the MEMORY lamp is on.
If not, pressi MEMORYl to set "On”.

Enter a telephone number from the keypad.
Ex:[I][I][I]|Ti[2][3][4]

The document is stored into memory with a file number.
Then starts to dial the telephone number. * DIALLING

m Note: 1. If you need a special access number to get an outside line, dial it first then press I PAUSE I to insert
a pause (represented by a "-"J before dialling the full number.
Ex: 9 PAUSE 5551234
2. If you are using Pulse dialling and you wish to change to Tone dialling in the middle of dialling, press
I TONE I (represented by a T).
The dialling mode will be changed from Pulse to Tone after dialling the digit T.
3. To stop the transmission, press i STOP j ,
The display shows;
COMMUNICATION STOP?
1:YES 2;NO
Press [H to Stop the transmission. The document you stored will be erased automatically.
If you do not want to erase the documents, change the setting of Fax Parameter No. 31 (INC. FILE
SAVE) to Valid in advance.(see page 36}
