Charging rechargeable battery
Charge the rechargeable battery;
•Before initial use.
•When the blinking mark “ifXl” appears on the player’s display.
Caution:
•Do not attempt to charge the rechargeable battery using a charger other than this
player.
^ Install the rechargeable battery ((sr P. 27 "Installing rechargeable
battery”).
2 Connect the supplied AC adaptor (ler P. 9).
0 Turn on the player by pressing the POWER switch.
Press on the player until the blinking mark appears.
Charging starts and it will finish automatically when the mark
disappears and the power goes off. A full battery charge requires a maximum of
three {3) hours.
•To stop charging, turn off the power.
Notes:
•The charging time may change depending on the charging capacity of the
rechargeable battery.
•While charging, no other operation can be performed.
• If the blinking mark “■fX'J” appears on the player’s display while using the
rechargeable battery with the Macintosh attached, quickly connect the AC adaptor.
Otherwise the Macintosh may hang up.
■ Trickle charging function:
Charging starts automatically when the rechargeable battery is installed, the AC adaptor is
connected and the power is on. While being charged the mark
does not appear
on the player’s display.
In this case, a full charge may not be done. To charge the rechargeable battery fully, follow
the steps 1 to 4 above.
