Refreshing rechargeable battery
If the rechargeable battery seems to run down sooner than usual {maybe because of
repetitive short-term charging and discharging), refresh the rechargeable battery two to
three times by following the instructions below.
^
Disconnect the player from your Macintosh and the AC adaptor.
Play an audio CD repeatedly to completely discharge the
rechargeable battery.
• Press Q until “ALL” is displayed and play an audio CD repeatedly until the
“iXJ” mark appears and the power goes off.
Connect the AC adaptor, turn on the player and press on
the player until the blinking mark
appears.
^ Charge the rechargeable battery until the mark “
disappears and the power goes off.
Replacing rechargeable battery
Replace the rechargeable battery:
• If the rechargeable battery quickly runs down even after refreshing (it has reached
the end of its life).
Note:
►The rechargeable battery will cycle approximately 300 times under optimum condition.
Removing the rechargeable battery:
O open the battery cover.
@ Pull the ribbon upward.
