DUAL VCF / VCA
Vostok has a multimode filter similar to that found in the vintage MS20 –
though modified for more versatility. Don’t think of it as a MS20 clone,
since Vostok’s filter has developed a character of its own.
It comprises two 12db filters. One is switchable between high and low
pass, and the other is low pass. Together they can be combined to be
band pass filter or 24db low pass filter.
The VCA is in the same general block of front panel as the two VCFs.
A voltage controlled filter (VCF) is used to change the tone/frequency
content of the raw oscillators.
