dejitter-buffer

dejitter-buffer

To specify the size of the dejitter-buffer used to compensate for the network jitter, use the dejitter-buffer
command in the CEM configuration mode. To restore the dejitter-buffer to its default size, use the no form
of this command.

dejitter-buffer size

no dejitter-buffer

The dejitter buffer defaults to 4 milliseconds.

The following example illustrates the use of the dejitter-buffer command:

Router(config)# interface cem 0/0/0

Router(config-if)# no ip address

Router(config-if-cem)# dejitter-buffer 10

Router(config-if-cem)# xconnect 10.10.10.10 200 encapsulation mpls

Router(config-if-cem-xconn)# exit

Use the size argument to specify the size of the buffer in milliseconds. Size
can vary from 4 to 500 ms; default is 4 ms.

cem

Enters circuit emulation configuration mode.

cem class

Applies the CEM interface parameters defined in the given
<cem-class-name> to the circuit.

class cem

Configure’s CEM interface parameters in a class that’s applied to
CEM interfaces together in the global configuration mode.
