CLEAR Spot Home Page / Advanced Settings / Device / About

This window displays information about your CLEAR Spot such as software, firmware, and hardware

versions, MAC ID, and more.

Model Number: Displays the CLEAR Spot model number.

Manufacturer: Displays “Sierra Wireless,” the company that manufactured the CLEAR Spot.

Software Version: Displays the software version for the routing hardware of the CLEAR Spot.

Reconditioned Status: If the CLEAR Spot has been reconditioned (refurbished), it will be

indicated.

Reconditioned Date: If the CLEAR Spot has been reconditioned (refurbished), the recondition

date will be displayed.

Activation Status: Displays the activation status of the CLEAR Spot.

Activation Date: Displays the activation date, if available, of the CLEAR Spot.

Network Operator: Displays “Clearwire,” the wireless carrier with whom the CLEAR Spot is

activated.

Wi-Fi Firmware Version: Displays the version number of the software that runs the wi-fi chipset.

Router PRI Version: Displays the PRI (Product Release Instructions) version for the CLEAR Spot

routing hardware.

3G Information:

Total Bytes: Displays the total number of bytes transferred by the CLEAR Spot, in 3G.

o

ESN (DEC/HEX): The ESN (Electronic Serial Number) is the unique first-generation serial

number assigned to the CLEAR Spot.

o

MDN: The Mobile Directory Number – a 10-digit phone number.

o

PRL Version: The PRL (Preferred Roaming List) is an account configuration item, which

controls the radio channels and network carrier used when the CLEAR Spot is connected

to 3G.

o

Firmware Version: Shows the current firmware version of the 3G component of the

CLEAR Spot. Updating the firmware helps to keep the CLEAR Spot performing optimally

and may add features and functionality.
