CLEAR Spot Home Page / Advanced Settings / WAN / 3G

This window displays information about CLEAR Spot’s 3G connection status.

Connection Status: Indicates whether or not the CLEAR Spot is connected to 3G.

Service Type: Displays the type of 3G coverage available.

Coverage Type: Displays the 3G coverage type.

o

RSSI: Reflects the signal strength of the network.

o

Ec/lo:

Is a dimension ratio of the average power of a channel (typically the pilot channel)

to the total signal power.

MDN: Mobile Directory Number, a 10-digit phone number, assigned to the CLEAR Spot.

SID: The System ID identifies your home network area.

MSID: Mobile Station ID is used as an identifier on the network.

NAI: Network Access Identifier, is used for accessing the 3G network.

PRL Version: The PRL (Preferred Roaming List) is set by Clearwire and controls the radio

channels and network carriers used by the CLEAR Spot.

Load 3G PRL: Update the 3G PRL.

Upload: Upload the 3G PRL data.
