Click the Modems folder, the modems should appear as shown below.

Highlight one of the modems and select Properties.

Check to see if the Microsoft Plug-N-Play has installed the modems in the
correct order.

If the modems were in the order you would like them to be in, use the
procedure below to reinstall the modems.

Configure the RocketModem IV ports to disable Plug & Play detection of serial
ports.
a.
Open the Comtrol Drivers Management Console.
b.
Click one of the ports.
c.
Check the Block Plug-N-Play Search for Attached Serial Device box.
d.
Check the Apply These Settings to All Ports box.
