Operating the Daily Start Timer

The system has the ability to start your vehicle based on a preset time entered into the 2-way transmitter. Prior to
activating this feature it will be necessary to enter the desired start time, refer to Daily Start Timer on page 11. The
daily start timer will only start the vehicle once per activation. When you have finished using the vehicle for the day,
follow the steps below to active the daily start timer.

1. Turn the ignition ON then OFF.

2. Within 15 seconds, scroll to vehicle menu 5 and select DAILY START.

3. The parking lights will flash and the siren will chirp 6 times indicating daily start mode has been
activated.

To cancel daily start, start the vehicle manually.

Using the Safety (Red Handled) Control Switch

The safety (red handled) control switch allows you to temporarily disable the remote vehicle starter feature, this is
especially helpful when having your vehicle serviced or valet parked. To disable the remote start, move the safety
(red handled) control switch to the OFF position.

Remote Start Safety Features

For safety and security reasons, the system will shutdown or prevent the remote vehicle starter from activating if
any of the following occur:

1. The vehicle’s hood is open.
2. The brake pedal is pressed prior to turning the ignition key to the ON position.
3. The engine reaches 3 times its normal idle speed.
4. The safety (red handled) control switch is moved to the OFF position.

The Turbo Timer feature keeps the vehicle running after arriving at your destination for a pre programmed amount
of time to cool down the vehicle’s turbo after you have left the vehicle.

To engage the turbo timer feature:

1. With the vehicle running via the ignition key, and your foot off of the brake pedal.
2. Engage the vehicle’s parking brake.
3. Scroll to vehicle menu 5 and select TURBO TIMER or press and release the UNLOCK and STAR
buttons at the same time.
4. The parking lights will turn on indicating that the turbo time is active.
5. Turn the ignition key OFF, the vehicle will continue to run for the preset time.

To disengage the turbo timer feature:

1. Press the vehicle’s brake pedal.

Or

2. Press the STAR button 2 times.
