Coded Override Procedure

The system has an optional override mode that allows you to program a 2-digit personal code using the emergency
override button offering a higher level of security. This feature must be enabled by your installing dealer, the
default override code is 11.

1.

Enter the vehicle (the security system will trigger).

2.

Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

3.

Within 5 seconds press the emergency override button the number of times corresponding to
the first digit of your personal code (Default digit is 1).

4.

Within 15 seconds turn the ignition key OFF, then ON.

5.

Within 15 seconds press the emergency override button the number of times corresponding to
the second digit of your personal code (Default digit is 1).

6.

Within 15 seconds turn the ignition key OFF, then ON.

7.

If entered correctly the security system will turn off.

8.

Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.

Programming Your Personal Override Code

Programming your Pin Code (pin code must be two digits).

1.

Turn the ignition ON.

2.

Press and hold the programming button for 10 seconds, the system will chirp 3 times.

3.

Advance to Feature Bank 3, (5 chirps).

4.

Press and hold TRUNK button for three seconds to enter pin code programming, the siren will
chirp twice and the LED will flash twice.

5.

Enter the first digit by pressing the LOCK button 1-9 times.

6.

Enter the second digit by pressing the UNLOCK button 1-9 times.

7.

Press and hold TRUNK button for three seconds to confirm digit entry and exit programming, the
system will give one long chirp and report entry by flashing the LED.

If the new pin code has been accepted (example pin code is 87), the unit will report back by flashing the LED 8
times to indicate the first digit, pause and then flash 7 times indicating the second digit.

Example: If the desired pin code is 87, during step 5 you will press the LOCK button 8 times and during step 6 you
will press the UNLOCK button 7 times.

Note: Custom Code must be turned ON in feature bank 3 before a pin code can be programed. The default setting
for this feature is OFF.

Note: Do not lose your “Personal Override Code”. Reprogramming a new code without the original code

can only be performed by an authorized dealer.
