System Accessory Connections
The Citation 5.0 is equipped with two separate control triggers that may be used to activate a
wide variety of optional, external devices such as power amplifiers, projection screens, power blinds
and lighting controls. As the connection and programming of these triggers may be complex, it is
strongly suggested that they be installed and configured by your Citation dealer. A connection to
the triggers involves voltages, which, if improperly connected, may cause damage not covered by
product warranties.
When the triggers are used to power compatible audio power amplifiers from Citation or other
manufacturers, connect the
Trigger 1 Output
⁄
to the Trigger Input on the amplifier. The factory
defaults for the 5.0 will automatically send a “Power ON” signal to these amplifiers from both
Trigger 1 and Trigger 2 when the 5.0 is turned on, and it will return them to a Standby mode when
the 5.0 is turned off. To use the triggers for any other function, the
Power
option for trigger pro-
gramming must be turned off in the
System Options
sub-menu titled
Program Triggers
.
