DIRECTOR Application Layout

The DIRECTOR application is organized into a sequence of eight pages
accessible by tabs at the top of the screen (Status, Job, Image, WaveMan,
Label Designer, Resources, Setup, Log). By completing information on
these cards you control the actions of the DIRECTOR to create, duplicate
and verify CDs as well as print disc labels.

Tabs:

Status

Displays the status of jobs after they have been
submitted for production.

Job

Brings together the data or audio contents and label
components of a CD so it can be produced.

Image

Specifies the contents of a data CD to be recorded.

WaveMan

Specifies the contents of an audio CD to be recorded.

Label Designer

Creates labels to be printed on the surface of CDs.

Resources

Displays the hardware elements connected to the
DIRECTOR.

Setup

Defines operating settings and user privileges.

Log

Displays the database of information maintained on all
jobs.

DIRECTOR Application Configuration

Before creating or duplicating a CD the DIRECTOR application must first
be configured. The Setup tab is used to establish a number of important
settings including basic operation parameters as well as the authorized users
and privileges they have using the DIRECTOR.







To begin or modify an existing setup of the DIRECTOR:

Click the Setup tab. The screen will now display:

Apply button must be clicked in order for any changes to take effect. Except
for modification of users and privileges.
