Note: Do not close this window, after installing the cdDIRECTOR software
you need to start the service. If you had closed this window follow the
above step to start the WWW Publishing service.
Run Setup.exe found in as c:\cdDIRECTO\cdDIRECTOR XXX – choose all the default
options
•
Right click on [start] from the Desktop.
•
Click on Explore and browse to C:\cdDIRECTOR\cdDIRECTOR XXX
folder.
•
Double click on this folder to expose all the files in this folder.
•
Double click on the Setup.exe file to execute it. This will run an installation
program, click on [next] to select default option as indicated and click on
[finish] in the end.
Start the World Wide Web Publishing
If you did not close services window, click on this window to make the
window active.
•
Click on the WWW Publishing service any where on the row to select it.
•
Right click on this row and click on start to start the service. The Services
Control message box will appear with the progress bar and attempt to start
the service. Up on successful start the box will disappear and the status
column will indicate, “started”.
If you had closed the services window
•
On the desktop click on start, settings, control panel.
•
In the control panel double click on Administrative Tools icon.
•
In the administrative tools window double click on services.
•
Using the side scroll bar scroll down to World Wide Web Publishing
Service.
•
Click on the WWW publishing service.
•
Right Click anywhere on the highlighted row, in the resulting menu bar,
click Start menu. Service control message box will show the progress in
starting the service. Once it completes the message box will disappear and
the status column will have “started” to indicate the service started
successfully.
