The resolution and frequency of supported signals will differ based on the video input type (e.g. the composite input
only supports NTSC and PAL resolutions). The list below represents the available streams:

CAUTION!

The

BlackMagic Decklink Video Capture

card will support both 8-bit and 10-bit video input signals,

however, MBOX only supports 8-bit input. Use only the available 8-bit streams, not one of the 10-bit input streams.

USB/FireWire Input

MBOX can receive a video input from a Mac-compatible USB or FireWire camera. Any camera that works with
QuickTime-based applications on the Mac should work. However, because there are such a wide variety of cameras,
it is impossible to verify that all of them work with MBOX. Always test your particular camera with the MBOX in
advance.

Because USB/FireWire cameras are not professional equipment, the quality (resolution and framerate) from these
types of cameras will not be very high.
