Placing Originals
Place originals on the platen glass or in the feeder, depending on the size and type
of paper that you are using, and the settings that you have specified.
■ Platen Glass
Place originals on the platen glass when scanning bound originals (such as books and
magazines), originals on heavy or lightweight paper, and transparencies.
■ Feeder
Place a stack of originals in the feeder
➞ press [Start]. The machine automatically scans
them into memory.
