The bracket must also rotate the Center channel towards the listening position. This

can be achieved by making a bracket that is higher in the back than in the front. Because

the rotation required for the Center channel depends on your listening position, speaker

mount height, and listening ear height, we are unable to provide a table with all of the pos-

sible combinations. However, we offer the following rotational suggestions that will bring

you very close to the ideal rotation (assuming a 5 foot mounting height).

Section 11.2—Mounting Center Channel above Screen

Mounting the Center channel above a TV requires a custom made bracket. This brack-

et will support the weight of the Center channel and allow it to be rotated toward the

listening position (see Figure 20 below). This rotation will significantly improve the perfor-

mance of your Center channel, improving system integration, phase delay correction, and

providing a correct image height.

The custom made bracket must have 4 mounting holes as shown in Figure 21 (oppos-

ing page). These holes will allow the Center channel to be bolted to the mount. Make sure

that the holes go all the way through the bracket and that the locations are such that they

will allow a nut to be tightened to the bolt that is inserted through these holes.
