□ Clean the container opening free so that no salt residues exist.
n Screw the cap back on clockwise. The cap must be tightly closed, since salt

will otherwise find its way into the rinse water and may make your glasses

cloudy.

□ If you do not wash your crockery immediately after filling with salt, run the

PRE-WASH programme to rinse away any sait water and salt grains that have
been spilt.

Salt replenishiinenit indicator
The green mark under the c£^ tells you that there is still sufficient salt in the con­
tainer. If the green mark is no longer visible, you must replenish the container with

special salt. Depending on the grain size of the salt, it may take several hours for

the green mark to reappear.

Important:

At water hardne^es below 4 “d, you need not fill your dishwasher with special

salt, in this case, the green mark under the cap is also no longer visible. This

implies no loss of machine function.
If salt is deposited in the plug cap window, the green mark can no longer be

easily detected. In this case, please clean the plug cap by holding ft under

running water until the window is transparent again.
