INTRODUCTION

25. Cargo Platform

Passengers should never be allowed to ride on the cargo platform. Severe injury or death could

result if they should fall out or the vehicle is involved in an accident or sudden maneuver.

To prevent damage to rear seat, be sure to move any obstructing accessories mounted to rear handrail when folding-

seat up or down.
The cargo platform is accessed by folding the rear seat down. Be careful

when loading the vehicle. Tie down loads to prevent shifting. Do not overload

vehicle. The cargo platform is limited to a maximum load of 550 lbs. (1200

kg). The load must be positioned on the platform as far forward as possible,

its center of gravity must not be higher than 4" (10 cm) above the platform,

and securely fastened down. Failure to follow these instructions could cause

personal injury, damage to the vehicle and/or cause the vehicle to tip over.

Be aware that increased loads may effect driving characteristics.
