3.1.1.2 Assigning IP address using the RS232 Port on the Receiver
The serial port on the receiver is normally used to control a projector, but you can use it to set an IP address.
Since the baud rate the port operates when communicating with the projector is unknown, the following procedure
assumes that you have just powered up the receiver and have not pressed any buttons on the user interface keypad to
send commands to the projector.

Upon power up the receiver assumes a baud rate of 19200 bps, and you can communicate with it at this rate

Connect a DB9 Female-to-Female cross over cable from your PC (use a USB to Serial adapter such as Hall Research
model USB-RS232-1) to the receiver. Use a terminal emulator on your PC (such as HyperTerminal) and set it up to
operate at 19200 baud with no handshake.
