3.2.4 Configuration

The Configuration tab is where all the system settings are configured. It is broken down into 6 sub-sections: System,
Users, Actions, Buttons, Groups, and Scheduling.

3.2.4.1 System
The System tab contains 3 sub levels for system configuration: Basic, Communications, and Advanced.

Basic

The Basic tab is for general system settings and installation profile.

Basic Configuration Tab

Model
The Model is specified in the firmware configuration file.

System Name
System Name is used to identify the device. This would usually be a location descriptor, for example “Main Lecture Hall”.

Description
The Description can provide additional information about the device or the installation.

Location
The Location is used to provide specific location information such as a Room number.

Date & Time
Used to set system Date & Time. The automatic scheduling system is based off this date and time.

Reboot Device
This will force the system to reboot.

Factory Defaults
Restores system back to default configuration. This will erase all custom configuration.

Configuration Upload
Uploads a new configuration file. The configuration file stores all settings and configuration information about a VSA-51
system.

Download Config
Downloads the current system configuration settings.
