The operating mode selector switch enables you to switch between de-
fined operating modes such as set-up, shutdown, automatic operation
and service. An actuator is used to assign access rights and authorisa-
tion to switch operating modes.
A safety system must be used to evaluate the operating modes. Switch-
ing must not initiate a hazardous movement, nor can it cancel an existing
control command.
