The Altera Quartus II design software package provides the programmer
function required to configure or program devices using the ByteBlasterMV
download cable.

To configure or program one or more devices with the ByteBlasterMV cable and
the Quartus II Programmer, perform the following steps.

Compile a project. The Quartus II Compiler generates a programming file,
such as a SOF, a POF, a Jam File (.jam), or a Jam Byte Code File (.jbc),
depending on the target device.
