10�- Once the COM port has been detected, you can add a CMBUS unit to the project by
clicking on the button to add units to the project as shown in Figure 10 .

From the suggested units, select option:
- RESI-MBUS-MODBUS for the CMBUS-8 model and
- RESI-MBUS2-MODBUS for the CMBUS-24 model.
11�- Once the unit has been added, select it from the list of project units and configure the
communication parameters ( Figure 11 ).

12�- Check the connection with the CMBUS by clicking on “TEST CONNECTION”
( Figure 11 ).
If the connection is successful, the CMBUS firmware version will appear on the screen in the
“Software version” field along with the “State” of the unit at the time.
