Troubleshooting – Inovonics Central Receiver


Error Message – “

ERROR – Error Initializing Inovonics Receiver

” Occurs when:

1- The Central Receiver has Lost Power (Unplugged from Outlet or UPS Failure)
2- The Central Receiver’s Serial Connection has been Lost (Disconnected or Wrong Com Port Assignment)

The System will send out an Alert Message to the “

Maintenance

” Pager.



After Power or the Serial Connection has been “

Restored

”, you will see the Log: “

Inovonics Receiver Initialized

”.
