4.1 Overview
The following chapters help you to start up and maintain the system:
4.2 Installing and Removing RTMs and Blades
The installation and removal procedures of AdvancedTCA blades and RTMs depend on the type
of blade or RTM. For a description of these procedures, refer to the documentation of the
respective blade or RTM.
Note that the blades and RTMs are installed horizontally in a Centellis 2000 shelf, while they are
usually installed vertically. Thus, the lower handle mentioned in blade descriptions
corresponds to the right handle of a blade installed in a Centellis 2000 shelf, and the upper
handle corresponds to the left handle. For RTMs which are mounted at the rear, the upper
handle corresponds to the right handle and the lower handle to the left handle.
