However, you will find it best to leave your printer and computer in the office and take only the Stockweigh Datamaster
into the yard. The data collection machine will securely bring information from the yard to your office for further
processing.

If using a printer, simply connect to the back of the Datamaster and turn on. The printer will print the start up procedure,
then as you save the data to memory, the printer will print out that line of data. You can also print statistics by pressing
F10 ad as you scroll through the statistics, the printer will print them out. You can also:

As an example: We will collect weight Gains for the animals that we weighed in the previous file ASteer@. The date on
this file was 11/06/98

Now we will start a new file called ASteers1" and date the file 05/12/98-these will be the same steers but we are
weighing them six (6) months later.

Step 1

Turn the Datamaster ON and the Datamaster will run through it=s start up procedure. At COMMAND!, press F1
(Collect Data) and Enter. The Datamaster will say it has XXXX lines left. Press Enter.

Step 2

Now set up the new file.

Name: The system will show the last data set on record. If it is not the file to be compared, press the arrow left
ant this will scroll through the data sets until one is selected. Select your file to be compared.

Note: If the data set that you want to compare the records to has been uploaded to your computer, simply

download this data set back into your Datamaster.

Step 3

Start weighing and collecting data as before but DO NOT ENTER ANYTHING INTO THE ## COLUMN AS
THIS WILL BE USED FOR WEIGHT GAIN. ie:

The left hand bottom line will show (0.1) i.e: A weight gain of 0.1kg per day. If a printer is connected, the
