Set the control dial

A1 to the MAX position. The indicator light A2 will turn on. Allow the

grill to heat up for approximately 10-15 minutes without placing any food on it. Working

temperature is achieved when the indicator light turns off. Place the food on hotplate

B.

Turn off the grill by turning the temperature control dial

A1 to position 0 a few minutes

before finishing grilling because the hotplate is sufficiently hot to complete the grilling of the

food.

Note

– When the temperature is changed using the control dial

A1 during the course of grilling it

will take approx. 5 to 10 minutes for the hotplate to achieve the set temperature.

– While heating the thermostat may cycle (the indicator light turns on and off). This is not

considered to be a defect.

Important notice

– Always allow the hotplates to heat up to working temperature before placing food on

them.

– Do not touch the metal parts of the grill or the hotplate

B during grilling, because these

parts are

HOT! Pay special care to ensure that children do not touch the hotplate!

For carrying use only the handles

A6.

– Never place aluminium foil or anything else under the hotplate or between the heating

element and the placement area.

– Never place a cold hotplate on a hot heating element.

– Never place frozen or heavy foods on a hotplate.

– Never allow the stone hotplate to come into contact with acidic foods (e.g. vinegar

products, mustard, sour gherkins, pickled vegetables, etc.).

– Do not leave an empty grill turned on for longer than 30 minutes.

– After several uses the stone will change colour and you will not remove the dark colours.

Small cracks that are created by the expansion of the stone are normal. This has no

effect on the operation of the appliance and cannot be a reason for a complaint.

– Never wash the stone hotplate in a dishwasher. Do not wash the stone using a

pressurised water beam or any other similar equipment (e.g. pressure or steam cleaner)!

Never cut food that is being prepared on the hotplates!

– Household pets (e.g. exotic birds) may have sensitive reactions to smells/odours, steam

and smoke created while food is being cooked. For this reason we recommend that food

is cooked in a different room.

All recommended cooking times for foods recommended in expert literature (cookbooks)

assume that meat has the temperature as when taken from the refrigerator. Cooking frozen

meat may take significantly longer.

Consider the following cooking tips as examples and inspiration, the purpose of which is

not to provide instructions but to show various ways of cooking food. Cooking (processing)

times for foods are only approximations and are in the range of minutes. The cooking time

will change depending on the temperature of the grill, the surrounding area and the type

of food being cooked. You may adjust the cooking time depending on your preference, the

longer the food is cooked the more well done it will be, crunchier.
